Types of Vibration Analysis Services
Semeq offers two types of Vibration Analysis services:
Offline: Uses portable data collectors.
Online: Includes durable systems permanently installed on the machine which capture signals repetitively in very short intervals.
Types of Test
Global level: Frequency spectrum (FFT – Fast Fourier Transformer); Waves in time; Amplitude demodulation (spectral envelope); Orbit; Phase; ODS.
Main detectable defects:
- Mass unbalancing;
- Misalignment and warpage of shafts;
- Wear of bearings;
- Wear of gears;
- Structural problems;
- Insufficient lubrication;
- Electrical problems in motors;
- Play.
