Vibration Analysis is one of the most complete condition monitoring techniques for the detection of mechanical failures. It is essential in any predictive maintenance program for rotating equipment. Besides detecting existing defects in machines, this technique helps identify the root causes of other defects that may occur which can end up shutting down production in your factory.

Types of Vibration Analysis Services
Semeq offers two types of Vibration Analysis services:
Offline: Uses portable data collectors.
Online: Includes durable systems permanently installed on the machine which capture signals repetitively in very short intervals.
Types of Test
Global level: Frequency spectrum (FFT – Fast Fourier Transformer); Waves in time; Amplitude demodulation (spectral envelope); Orbit; Phase; ODS.
Main detectable defects:
- Mass unbalancing;
- Misalignment and warpage of shafts;
- Wear of bearings;
- Wear of gears;
- Structural problems;
- Insufficient lubrication;
- Electrical problems in motors;
