Motor Electric Circuit Analysis

Importance of Electric Motor Performance
Electric motor performance is the key factor for the availability of your production systems. MCA (Motor Circuit Analysis) is the most efficient way to understand and diagnose electrical defects in motors.
DemonstrationIntegrated MCA Process
Semeq uses a MCA integrated process with Vibration Analysis and Thermography, which detects one hundred percent of the electrical and mechanical defects in your electric motors and on their respective feed circuits. This is all done the fastest way available with today’s technology, and with utmost safety during the application of the electrical tests.
Types of Tests
Resistance and capacitance to ground; Phase/phase resistance; resistive unbalance; Phase/phase inductance.
Main detectable defects:
- Irregular feed connections and cables;
- Inoperating capacitor bench;
- Humidity, dirt or dried out isolation varnish;
- Current leakage and short-circuit among coils;
- Broken or cracked bars;
- Excentricity of the rotor in the stator;
- Unbalancing of tension/current;
- Tension/current harmonics;
- Defect on the frequency switch.
